Rally for the American hostages Obama has left behind in Iran
Crowd to gather across the street from White House in support of the four Americans being held in Iran.
As we reported last week, the United States was one of several countries to agree on conditions that will supposedly prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. There are many problems with the “Iran deal” — such as the fact that it very likely won’t prevent a nuclear Iran — but one of the most troublesome issues is that it did not include the release of four American hostages being held in Iran.
Despite previously assuring the family of one of the hostages, Pastor Saeed Abedini, that the release of the hostages would be a top priority, Obama agreed to a deal that leaves Pastor Saeed, plus three other Americans, languishing in Iran.
This bad deal doesn’t sit well with the group Concerned Women for American Legislative Action Committee (CWA LAC), and they are letting their voices be heard. Tomorrow, July 22, 2020, CWA LAC will be holding a rally in Lafayette Park, directly across the street from the White House. Starting at 12 p.m., the rally’s purpose is twofold: 1. Protesting the bad deal with Iran; and 2. Supporting the four American hostages and their families.
Speakers at the rally include CWA’s Penny Nance, Sen. Ted Cruz, Tiffany Barrans (a representative of Pastor Saeed’s family), and Gary Bauer of Christians United for Israel Action Fund.
